Providing the most accurate ground radar anywhere
The four-season weather of Northern Utah, the effects of blistering heat in Southern Utah are only a few of the factors that can affect soil composition. Sun, rain, ice, and snow need to be within the working parameters for the GPS system to accurately determine subterranean data results.
Every project will present varying terrain. Understanding how these variations may inhibit real-time results during a survey is a must for every professional field technician. The contributions of conductive soil and the critical parameter of the dielectric constant must also be considered during an investigative survey.
Low conductivity soil deposits like sand and gravel provide the most detailed data, while clay-rich soil deposits tend to limit GPR signal penetration making a high-resolution reading in the field more difficult.
Our Vision
As pioneering leaders in our field, our vision is to embrace new and emerging subsurface imaging technology and applications as they become evident. We will strive to face each new challenge with the same adventurous spirit of those who came before us.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high resolution GPR services through real-time, high-resolution feedback in the field and through comprehensive analysis and reporting to give you the insight and confidence you need to move forward with digging, excavation, or construction.
Trusted GPR Experts Since 1999
Earthview Technology was the first subsurface imaging company in the state of Utah. As pioneers in our field, Earthview Technology LLC has grown with the GPR industry from its infancy as new applications for this incredible technology have emerged over the past quarter-century. GPR has become an invaluable tool for everything from large civil engineering projects to assisting law enforcement in locating human remains and everything in-between.
It is important to have a comprehensive understanding of the subsurface picture BEFORE you build, dig, or install to avoid dangerous or costly mistakes. Claim your free, no-obligation estimate to learn how our easy, affordable GPR services can help with your next project.

Our Story, Past to Present
Steeped in Tradition and Knowledge
Our livelihood is steeped in tradition and knowledge that has been passed down from Grandfather to Grandson. Earthview Technology is an established, multi-generational family-owned and operated company that stands on the shoulders of great men who, each in his own turn, mined the earth and completed impossible excavation endeavors long before the incredible technology of ground penetrating radar emerged.
I Come from Greatness
I am Caden Mark Roberts, owner and operator of Earthview Technology LLC and I come from greatness. I am the proud grandson of our founding father Walter ‘Mark’ Gramlich. My Grandpa Mark was the most important person in my life, he was my mentor, very best friend, and business partner. While his passing in December 2021 was devastating to our entire family and all those who knew him, Grandpa Mark left with me the drive and passion to continue ‘business as usual’ with the company.
